Home / What H. Neuman is all about... / HNC History HNC History H. Neuman & Company joined NHI in 1999 as part of the New Hampshire Industries, Inc. family. Founded in 1946 as a small machine shop in the Chicago area, Henry Neuman and his family owned the company until 1986, focusing more and more on precision machining needs. Purchasing the company in 1986, the new owners tightened the focus even farther, concentrating on products requiring turning, machining, and hobbing — with synchronous timing belt pulleys becoming the main product. Even before its purchase by New Hampshire Industries, H. Neuman & Company was hard at work refining the processes used in synchronous timing belt manufacturing to better serve customers. New Hampshire Industries has continued this lineage of continual improvement to be sure to supply you, our customer, with the product that you need, when you need it. |
