At Neuman, Made-To-Order (MTO) has only one meaning — getting you the parts you need to your design requirements.  It could be a special material, a combination of pulley sizes and types, a special added feature to an otherwise standard pulley, or it may not even be a pulley, but is rather just a "pulley-like" device.  Using our turning, hobbing, milling, and assembly capabilities, H. Neuman & Company stands ready to make that unique part just for your application. 

How it works:

The process begins with your requirements -  the application that seems impossible to resolve with standard components.  Or, perhaps, standard components will work, but you do not think that they are the best solution to the problem.  It doesn't matter.  Define the difficulty as far as you can and then call HNC Engineering to help you get the design finished and built.  By knowing your application requirements then combining them with our manufacturing knowledge we can help you to design a cost-effective part that meets or exceeds what you expect..

Is the product you need a "stock" design? Does it have an unusual tooth count, or a less common belt profile?  Your answer then lies in our Made-To-Need (MTN) program.  The MTN program covers stock design pulleys where the belt profile and tooth count that are less popular than those in our Stock Timing Pulley program.  The advantage is yours - stock design, made when your product needs them.
